In 2016, I started my university education in the Industrial Design Department at Anadolu University. During this time, I gained a strong understanding of the fundamental principles of design and the relationship between products and users. I also learned model-making techniques and product-human interaction. In my third year, I was introduced to digital product interaction, which shifted my focus to user experience design and creating seamless experiences in products. For my graduation project, I collaborated with Vestel to design a system that promotes sustainable development by enhancing water efficiency.
As the valedictorian of my graduating class, I collaborated with Vestel on my graduation project to design a system that supports sustainable development. The system is capable of generating water and efficiently irrigating agricultural lands where irrigation is inefficient, or water is scarce. My project was exhibited at Istanbul Design Week in 2021 and was nominated by T.M.M.O.B. as one of the top 10 student projects of the year.
During my time at UXservices, I received training and mentoring in various disciplines. Together with my team, I conducted training sessions on user experience, design thinking, user research, and more for companies and individuals who engaged with our services.
As a UI/UX designer at UXservices, I contributed to high-profile projects like Tıkla Gelsin, Fiat Yol Arkadaşım, B/S/H Dahi App Fiat Connect Filom and Bitexen, Fibabank, Pegasus, covering the full design lifecycle, from research to implementation, to deliver outstanding user experiences.
User Research Analysis and Information Architecture: Evaluated data and findings from the user research team to understand behaviors, needs and challenges. Developed UX strategies, defined user flows and personas, and created information architecture tailored to each project's goals.
Design & Prototyping: Using tools like Figma. I designed user-friendly interfaces. I created low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes that guided development teams, ensuring designs were both visually appealing and aligned with business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: I worked closely with developers and stakeholders to bridge design and development, creating detailed documentation like UI kits and style guides, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Usability Testing & Optimization: Leading usability tests, I gathered feedback and iterated on designs to improve user flows and reduce friction points, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.
Brand Identity & Consistency: I maintained strong brand identity across projects, balancing creativity with brand values to deliver emotionally resonant and functional experiences. Through these experiences, I refined my ability to create user-centered solutions that enhance both user satisfaction and business performance.
UXservices organized the UXIstanbul conference, hosting speakers from leading companies like Netflix, Microsoft, Volkswagen, Amazon, and Google. Before the pandemic, the event was held in person, but it later shifted to an online format using Discord. I actively contributed to the preparation, planning, and execution phases of the conference.
